Fishing waders are sometimes referred to as Chest Waders. Basically they are waterproof boots that reach from the fisherman’s feet to his chest (hence the name Chest Waders).
Usually the material used for these waders are a type of latex rubber (very common) but these do not breathe very well and can therefore be uncomfortable. These waders can have an attached boot or can also be made to be worn inside other boots.
Uses for waders are the obvious ones – that of fishing, or angling – but can also be used when off-roading in 4x4 vehicles, or in industries that require some form of protection for boots and trousers, for example sewerage maintenance.
